Artemis had reached what at first glance appeared to be a subway entrance,the girl quickly disappears down the flight of steps.

" What the feth is she going into the subways for !?" Jimmy blurted out rushing to the stairway.glancing over he saw Artemis opening a large iron door at the bottom of the flight of steps.

" Another of my...safe zones." Artemis said looking up,a look of frustration on her face " All of you hurry up...the infected are close...and I don't want them to see us enter here."

One by one the men rushed down the steps and into Artemis' "shelter",Jimmy jumping down last and dashing through the doors as Artemis shut them behind him.

A moment later light illuminated a small corridor and the group was led into a large room holding several cots,a large battered table and chairs,several foot lockers and cabinets and a small table with three computers.

Artemis sat down heavily in one of the chairs and glared at the group of men " I think you should all be aware...that if we don't get to the Hospital soon..and get those files..you can all pretty much kiss the world as you know it goodbye."

"Does anyone want to enlighten me and my friend here as to what you are talking about?" Jacob asked. He had already realized who this girl was, though he knew nothing about her.

As Dmitri and Jimmy sat catching their breath and digging pieces of the museum from their bodies,Artemis quickly surmised what she knew to the other men.

" Basically..Fox has access to the Reaper Virus" She said " He is obsessed with the idea of survival of the strongest...and seeks to expand the Game...to a national..perhaps even global level."

" So what your saying is..." One of the men begin to say.

" What I'm saying.." Artemis interrupted " Is if we don't get to the Hospital..find the back up files..and get them of this island and into the hands of those who can find a cure...or a vacine...it's going to be Game Over...for everyone."

Intermezzo

Fox stood on top of the hospital, a blazing chopper right behind him.
"I don't care, if you have to take it apart piece by piece. you will get it."
The headwolf wearing a white wolf mask nodded.
"It'll be done." Fox started to walk to the chopper.
The wolf grabbed him by the shoulder. Fox quickly turned around, pulling a revolver out of nowhere.
The wolf glared at the pistol hovering right in front of his eyes. "Never touch me" fox said angry.

The wolf nodded heavely, happy nothing was coming out of the muzzle.
"Yes boss, but what if Artemis comes?" The wolf waited for minutes, his neck starting to hurt.
Fox finaly answered. "she's target number one, togheter with mr. Freeman"
Fox released his grip and jumped into the chopper. The white wolf was happy that Fox was gone.
He hated that guy, but the pay was good. He walked down and faced his goons.
"We've got work to do."

By the way, sillyboy, I don't have "a game" as it were.

I'm just massing my forces..

Dmitri ran towards the fellow players. It was a while before he reached the 4, and they were talking about something Dmitri couldn't understand, with his limited english.

"Here... Dogs... Er..." Dmitri didn't know the word for Wolf or Fox in english.

"No, no, no. Bad dogs, angry dogs, evil dogs..." Dmitri grabbed "Little Red Riding Hood". "Look, bad dog!"

"You've got to be f***king with me, Ruskie." Jimmy looked grave, almost like he knew his end was near. "Doggie! And... Red dog..." He grabbed Fantastic Mr. Fox.

"Look, red.... Fox?" Dmitri red the word like "Facks", but the idea was generally noted.

The lights went out, and the sound of broken glass was unmistakable.

The pack was hunting.

Bit confused here,the entire group..including Dmitri,are sitting in an underground shelter...how did Dmitri "see" Fox and his helicopter?

..No, my initial plan was to RP the group running to the hospital,but...after reading your RP in which Dmitri was intent about getting to shelter quickly I RPed the group running to one of Artemis "safe zones"...They are currently sitting in an undergroud one room bunker.

"I suggest we got the opposite direction of them." Said the clever one.

"I agree, the majority would have gone over to the town and we should be safe going the opposite direction." replied the largest brute of the group.

"Well we seem safe here. Why not just stay and wait it out." Objected the girl.

"Look little lady," started the brute, "we are going, and It'd be wise that you come with us seeing as how we are more muscle and could protect you better.

"Going out there is madness, we can bar the doors and windows with these pipes so they can't get in. I don't care what you're saying but I'm staying."

"So you guys are left with a choice." Said the Clever one, "Come with us, or stay with her."

Jack and the other two guys looked at each other.

Artemis continued to check the outside monitors,a large group of infected had gone past almost a half hour ago and she had seen no signs of any others.
She had decided to wait another half hour,if the area still appears clear.she would try to make it to the hospital.
She stood and walked to a foot locker and begin to rummage through it " Here Jimmy" she said holding out a box in his direction.
Jimmy opened the container,inside he found six more shotgun shells with he slipped into his jacket pockets.

" So..." One of the Men asked Artemis " You got anymore guns around here?"

Artemis stared at the man " No..but.." she opened on of the standing lockers " You may chose weapons from here."

Inside the locker was a couple of crossbows,a few swords and axes plus a single ancient iron mace.

The men walked over to the locker and begin to examine it's contents as Artemis returned to the computers.

No problem Darko...I figured your character and NPC could use better weapons than pointy sticks...besides...I still have the gun.

True.. but believe me, you won't be the only one with a gun soon..


Those who value detail will be able to figure out where these boons will come from.. otherwise.. you might wish to read back.

Not sure if my idea is the same as yours...but I surely have one as to where a small cache of firearms may be aquired in the very near future.
