I only began to collect my Tau last month, so I'm in the early stages of my army. I'm still going back to these models occasionally to fix the highlighting and add more detail, but here's what's currently painted:
There's all my currently painted Tau army.
Still to Paint:
12 Fire Warriors
2 Gun Drones
1 Marker Drone
Still to Paint and Assemble:
1 Devilfish
6 Gun Drones
In the post and on its way:
2 Krootox
12 Fire Warriors
6 Vespid Stingwings
3 VX25 Stealth Team members
No heavy support just yet. I'm not sure what to get. Are Sniper Drone teams worth the points or is it better to go Sky Ray or Hammerhead?

I love the Red of the Tau with the green of the Kroot, nice looking army.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

I'm never sure about doing those bases. I kept it clear so it'd blend in with any battlefield I played it on. I guess I could do it... I'm unsure though.

That is a nice looking EC force there. definitely diggin the flames on the nose of the Rhino. That defiler also looks good, with just enough pink on it to really have a neon look.

All the ec in my army have individual paint jobs, one shoulder pad, half helmet pink and one leg etc, all my champions etc have robes so i thought the flames would be an ideal addition to the scheme.

in total i should have 20000 points of space marines (including grey knights and each codex of space marines except dark angels)
i also have 10000 points of tau somewhere in a roof

(not all marines in picture about half or less are there)
my tau are not painted but it has been a while since i could remember where i left them after i did not like the current codex
