Good work guys

I like that the gun is not on functional, but is more powerful than usual. And that it's weighted for realism Defenestrator, so it knocks people out of windows?

Finally all done and here be the photos. Camera and computer decided to be utter gimps this evening ><
Anyways - here be Tech Priest Dominus Lant Dor and his personal Castellax Battle Automata Delta17 'Razorfist from the forgeworld Achlys Tertius. Really really loved this wee project from the figs to designing and building the dio. A fantastic, if utterly hectic fortnight!!! I'm exhausted and off to bed!! Great work all - it's been a fantastic month for entries. Good luck all and nighty night, don't let the warpdaemons bite

Hey all

Sadly I have run out of time on this challenge, think I'm about 85% done, still needed to do highlights more black flames and add a few gubbins, icons etc.

Heres my final entry, think i managed to salvage the ebay buy.

Spoiler:

I now have tremendous respect for anyone that paints an entire army in bad moons colors, yellow is a pain in the ass to paint.

Great efforts from BC with your monumental challenge this month, I really like the gun Love Badger and Zerg I feel your painting has come on really well over the last few challenges well done

edit: Oh no I've posted directly after Januine my entry is doomed!

Frankly, it doesn’t mater where we post in relation to Januine, we were doomed from the start. For being partially done, that is still amazing work. I’ll agree on the yellow thing. Mad props to all the people who can pull that off, because Emperor knows, it’s not me.

Had a powercut last night/this morning, but it's been back on for a couple of hours and so I'm done!

~

These guys were fiddlier than I imagined, didn't appreciate quite how many little lenses there were.

Voting's going to be tricky again this month with some stellar entries from the rest of you.

So I'm currently pouring the waves but, I don't think they will finish in time which is a shame.

I believe it is possible for me to finish the giant robot though today.

Cheers, man. I must say, the sculpts get a lot of the credit for that, lots of thingamjigs and doodads on the old metal ones.

Well, I'm still trapped between France and Spain, but I found some late WIP of my entry, and I'm not getting back home until tomorrow.

Paradigm, final entry thing, not really happy with it but I didn't really have much time this month, but September is looking possible, we'll see

Cool!

For those eagerly looking for the new thread tomorrow, remember to look for one by Buttery Commissar, not me! I'll try and have voting up by midday-ish.

I'll have to submit a very neat WIP as there's no way I can get this finished left-handed. Every time I start using my right hand, it starts off bleeding again.

if it's okay, I'll take the photo first thing in the morning with some daylight, try and get the whites looking truer.

That should merit an "ouchie" extension till tomorrow. Take your time Buttery, I didn't know until now that you were handling Para's job.

Yeah, I think it's only fair you go into 'injury time' there, BC! If you manage to finish in the next few days then let me know and I'll see you get completion points even if you can't manage to get a WIP tomorrow!

@Stormwall: BC is taking over for September while I move in to uni, normal, me-in-charge service will be resumed in October! Mwahahahaha, there is no end to my rule!

Second injury time for BC! Ouch! Another scar for the collection?

I finally got my Haqqislam Remotes done.... this month has really pushed my painting stamina, but I get two shiny new models at the end. Can't wait to try out the Rafiq, what with the sensing, and the forward-observing, and the shotgunning... The Shihab has already seen a good few games, but maybe now he's painted he'll live longer (that's how it works, right?)

Now, resculpt in 3, 2, 1....

Congratulations to all the stunning entries!

Those are awesome and adorable. The lenses are great. Also, we really do need a scar thread at this rate.

...Dibs on Stormwall's stuff.

You okay to do the next subject poll, Para? I can stick a spoiler for collected suggestions in the first post of the next topic, for your easy perusal.

Thanks for the accommodation, I did this in the most stupid way possible, so I don't really deserve it.
I was pulling a cover off a brand new xacto-style knife, and adjusted my grip to avoid cutting myself. I don't know quite what happened, but there was a distinct moment of, "Oh dear."

I did that before, I drew a box cutter across my hand and watched like an idiot for a few seconds when cutting foam for the LOER.

Also, concerning my stuff... :C

@Arclaw: awesome, they look great!

@BC: yep, I should be OK to do the polls/voting thread, it's just the day-to-day management I'm not going to have time for. You can collate the suggestions if you want, if not I'm good just to dig through, I'll be following the thread anyway!

Cheers for the praise guys, means a lot as everyone here seems so skilled! Will try to post a video showing the firing next to one of my unmodified nerf, but not sure how to do it as I'm a bit of a technophobe. It's a pretty simple mod with a few vids on utube if anyone wants a crack.
Seems like lots of variety this month, good to see a battleship, war machine, 40k and infinity in the same thread and no one being a bitch about the other games :-)
Good luck everyone. What's the theme for next month? Think I missed it while catching up with the thread.

Well after being distracted by some deadzone terrain at the start of the month and then going on holiday for two weeks my machines have barely risen at all this month. :| So looks like i will be a DNF for this month's challenge. Congrats to all of the finishers though.

Most people will tell you that fancy painted models tend to die first in games...
Which doesn't bode well for my shiny new Soul Grinder!
All kidding aside, I'm loving all the entries, but I think once again Januine has us beat. Still looking forward to the voting, when I can compare everybody's stuff more closely and admire the awesome paint work!

I'm sorry guys, my model is taking so much longer than I thought it would.I'm just now getting the shield and plasma gun done with some minor coloring on the upper torso. I had a pot of Seraphim Sepia spill on my white carpets too, that took a long time to clean up today.

The water effects on the base are taking forever too, something Buttery warned me about. I'd go all night and get it done but, there are only two hours technically left for me, and I start my new job tomorrow.

So I'm out. I'll post pictures in my plog and here when it is done though, for sentiment since i actually worked on a figure to the end this time and didn't drop out.

Great stuff keep coming!

@Januine: Awesome, just awesome! I can't believe I am saying this about a techno-mage and a mad robot with saw fists, but they actually look real!

@sockwithaticket: Those gemstones are just fantastic! How big are the smallest ones? Like 1mm? Less?

@Arclaw: Brilliant basing! What are those big leaves? I want some too!

I'm afraid I got distracted by another project and neglected my entry for this month. :(

Great work to everyone who finished! I'll work on my tank some more once I finish off the Blood Angels Captain I'm working on.

Take it easy everyone.
