Has htis ever happened to you(No,I am not selling insurance)?

You have planned to team/gang up on a player with your friend,who has the same army as you(fior this example,let's use SM)

You deploy and get the zone in.

And you realise thast you both have Marneus Calgar.

How do people go about this?Do you agree to take him out of one person's list and make up hte rest of the void?Or do you play with 2,simply calling one 'Bob'?

Personally, I'd remove one. Having two of the same character just takes the "uniqueness" away from them and limits them to a set of numbers instead of giving the army a more personalized face.

That said, I'm of the "style over substance" mindset and I do see the point of people who think differently, too. It's very much personal preference, so if you already have to ask, I guess just go ahead and field two of them.

Went with "other" for various reasons.

1) If it were a planned team game, I would expect some collaboration between teammates prior to list building; in that event, there is little room for an "accidental" doubling of a character.

2) Being a spontaneous team game, the situation would likely be allowed; providing all players agree.

3) Going back to a planned game such a situation should have been discussed and either denied or approved at the planning stage.

So short answer:
Spontaneous team game, no problem with it personally.
In a planned team Game, it should have been discussed.
