What do you think about the mysterious dissapearance of the Space Wolves Primarch

There's a 'king under the mountain' myth attached to most of the Primarchs, Russ is no exception.

No I hear that's the Dark Angel's Primarch, you see, Russ went into the warp with the 13th Company and has not return, but was reportedly seen leading the 13th Company during Abbadon's 13th Black Crusade.

He will return.

'King under the Mountain' is a generic term used in literature and anthropology for a figure whose return is promised in the time of his people's greatest need, at the end of the world, or when particular conditions are met. As I said, similar myths exist around most of the primarchs.

Russ will return at the wolftime and fight allongside the allfather. It says so in all the sagas so it must be TRUE.

He's dead....ref his deathbed speech...

The current SW codex says on page 28:
"Listen but closely my brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our chapter is dying, even as I am now dying......."

I hope he doesn't.

It's my Signature you should've read it all, he might be dead, but those Imperial guard sightings of him and the 13th company do make me think he's still alive and coming at the end of Wolftime

He may have made the speech to the followers he took into the Eye while searching for his lost marines...there's no date on it. lol

Bringing back a primarch would be unheard of, and I'm not sure GW is going to do that anytime soon.

It would be interesting, though.

Yes, yes it does. He basically promises not to die until after they need him, no matter his condition now. It is him being stubborn as usual.

GW won't bring him back. If they did the would get a bunch of fanbois whining about how their favorite primarch should be brought back too. and oh god could you imagine the field day our dear "friend" Mr. Ward would have if he was allowed to bring back Girlyman?

Which is really worse, Ward bringing back Roboute Guilliman, or him creating Draigo because GW wouldn't let him?

Weather he does or not doesn't bother me. SW still rule.

I think he's with the 13th Company pursuing Magnus and the rest of the Thousand Sons. This in itself will take forever because a force that is effectively the size of a chapter is hunting a Legion. 1000 marines vs. over 10,000 chaos sorcerers and spirits.

Of course, him saying it, and actually being capable of doing it are two different things.

The fact that Russ said he would return doesn't mean that he actually will.
