Well I've been playing Tau for about 2 years now, and my buddy gave me about 4,000pts worth of Tyranids for letting him stay at my house...I have no idea how to play these things lol any ideas?

Basic idea though, kill your opponent dead. Keep units in synapse range. Keep synapse units alive.

well i'm still going through all of the stuff he gave me, its all still in boxes, not the original boxes, just random boxes...

what I have pulled out so far is about 2 full warrior broods, a full gargoyle brood, doom, a full hormagaunt brood, and a full termigaunt brood...gonna pull out the rest tomorrow morning...hope that helps.

Helps a lot if you read their codex. Look through the options and see what you've got, and what you'd like to use.

Assault the enemy as quickly as possible, but try not to assault unengaged squads that are in cover, that Initiative Loss hurts.

Also stay in cover till you get into assault range if possible.
