I really can't decide. I was originally sure of getting mw3 but after seeing the Space Marine multiplayer gameplay I'm starting to reconsider.

For my part, I say Space Marine. MW3/BF3 are just generic modern shooters with nothing really unique or interesting about them, essentially merely continuations of their old and tired series, milking their names and IPs for as much profit as possible.

MW3 is really just Call of Duty 2012. It's just like all the sports games now, buy a new one every year just to have the latest teams. Or in this case, the latest guns.

Well, looking at the gameplay, it is extremely similar or Gears. Huge bulky guys carrying big guns basically. However, I found Gears to be extremely boring after the first one, and all of the gears games are basically the same (nothing new gets added), WHereas space marine is a totally new enviornment and stuff.

That's the thing. People say it looks similar to Gears of War, but at the same time, it doesn't. The focus is not on hiding behind chest high walls, it's about being a walking tank.

It does look like Gears of War (in kind of the same way that Transformers: War for Cybertron did). A game can look like another game without being or playing exactly the same way. Of course, sometimes I actually think Transformers: War for Cybertron is a Gears game with Cybertronian skin Playing the game really reminds me of Gears.
Of course, one could say any game with big bulky men in armor with an over the shoulder view looks like Gears of War

Well, based off of the previews for Gears 3 .
The real reason I dont like Gears it that it would've been alot more tolerable if I hadnt played so much Gears 1. And since I got bored of Gears 1, and Gears 2 has very minimal differences, I got bored of Gears 2 real quick.
