Some people seem to think SW can get Ironclads. They point out the SW FAQ, but I downloaded it and read through it and could not find a mention. Some People simply "assure" me that SW can get Ironclads, and tell me to just google it. Yet I cannot find any GW Faq etc that allows SW to take Ironclads.

So, I turn to you, denizens of YMDC. Can you give me a no nonsense answer to this question? Can SW take Ironclads or not? I believe its a no, but I hope its a yes (I wanna field them

)

Here some people talk about how the SW FAQ allows SW to take Ironclads.....in a thread from ´08.
The current SW codex is from late '09.

I think you have been had....

And, no, Space Wolves cannot take Ironclads, as that particular unit does not appear in their codex.

I just checked the SW book, there is not an option in there to take a Ironclad Dreadnought.

The FaQ does not mention anything about Ironclad Dreadnoughts either.

Therefore you may not take Ironclad Dreadnoughts in a SW army list, unless you are playing Apoc.

If you followed my link to the dakka thread, you'd see I'd quoted that thread. I should have checked the release for SW, because i saw the dates and was thinking its quite old, but "the people" were quite insistent

Ironclads are not allowed in a Space Wolves army.

It was in the FAQ for the old SW codex. Tell your friends that they need to update their FAQs
