Just a reminder... in honor of the release of the Space Marine demo for Steam PC preorderers, THQ and Valve are having a sale on their other 40k games and DLC for roughly 50% off. I realize most of the people here have probably already played both Dawns of War but just an FYI for those that haven't. I missed both games as I switched to consoles around that time and the steam sale lets me play them in addition to being able to put the first one my netbook which doesn't have a dvd-rom.

Also, $100 will buy you every Dawn of War game, from the first to Retribution, with all DLC, expansion packs, AND Space Marine. If I didn't own them all already I'd jump on that.

I probably would have gotten that but my laptops and netbook are iffy on the DOWII requirements and I'm getting Space Marine for the xbox anyways. If you're strictly a PC gamer and haven't gotten too many of the previous 40k titles, it's a good deal.

Really? I dont see that anywhere. Although I already own all DoW titles so the only thing I would be saving on is a few ret DLCs

When I check yesterday, it said you should "gift" them to others but no mention of a price drop. Are you sure you're not just looking at the Space Marine game by itself?

I added the full thing to my cart, went to checkout and it showed me $50 saying that I had some stuff already so got an extra discount, and that I could gift some of the items if their terms allowed.

Sadly I couldn't check out because Steam was having a hissy fit over a payment card registered in a country other than the one from which I was accessing the Steam store.
