I find this topic interesting because I belive it varies quite a lot from country to country. Thus if you have replied to this poll, it would be nice if you could make a post saying what you voted and also which COUNTRY you live in.

This poll differentiates between organised battles and casual battles. Tournaments, campaigns, leagues and similar are organised battles. Everything else is casual battles, including games that are preparation for organised battles.

If you have already voted on this poll on another forum it's fine to vote again here as long as you have played at least one game in between. If you haven't played Warhammer 40K in the last 12 months then that is option 10.

Depends how old/weird you are. If your 17+ I wouldn't recommend it.


Last game I played was my Nob heavy orks versus my mates khorne marines versus my mates nid horde versus my mate using my space marines. We're fighting over a bunker in the middle of the table, but theirs an exterminatus going on, so big explosions happen everywhere. The first person who gets their HQ into the bunker wins.

I live in Scotland, and played an awesome friendly with my Word Bearers. Three Land Raiders, each with three squads of Five Terminators, and a single 12 man squad of melta-marines, and a Chaos Lord with Dual Lighting Claws.

Tournament game finishing up our escalation league, at my local GW (which happens to be one of the few amazing ones), US

I play at Epic Loot games (dayton, oh area) and played a 1850 battle with my deathwing against tyranids. I managed to wipe him out completely with Belial + squad remaining alive on an objective.

Pick up game at a store.I played nids and he played Eldar,1000pts.

Was awesome.I didn't take tyrant guard,so instead I placed my Zoanthrope in front of my Tyrant.The Eldar couldn't kill it.The Zoan was the target of 5 Krak missiles and 15+ bright lance shots,but it didn't fail 1 save.It even managed to explode a War Walker in combat.

My hive tyrant was a beast.He single handedly took on 5 striking scorpions,3 Shining Spears with exarch,a Farseer and his 3 Warlocks with witchblades,and they Avatar,and won.After he ran tjhe last Scorpion down in SA,he was killed by a D-Cannon.The same cannon was destroyed by the Warp Lance,with the last two guardians on the gun,being attacked by 10 stealers.Won by wipeout.Or 7 KP,your pick.
