Hi!

I really like this guys armor:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1290005a&setLocale=de_DE
(Rider on Zombie Dragon)

Unfortunatly I can never get red armors right, they always look horrible.

Do you guys got any tips how to do the red armor? I would like to use those for my bloodknights too.

Thanks,
Ventus

Go from Scab red, then layer with mechrite red, blood red and finally highlight with blood red and some yellow added. Just did so in fact on my chaos sorcerer, worked out well.

My mix -
Mechanite red base coat.
Thin wash of Develan Mud.
Touch up with Mechanite Red.
A couple of thin coats of Blood Red.
Wash of Baal Red.
Highlight with Blood Red then Blazing Orange.
If you have any of the old red ink, then do a very very thin wash ('glaze') over - only have a small amount on the brush.
If not then try the same with the Baal Red.

Good luck!
