They would b a good objective holding, shooty army. 5 man PM squads with 2 special weapons and combi on the champ, in rhinos. Nurgle princes are decent. T6 bikers? ; )

I was merely asking lol

What you mean by T6 bikers?

I was thinking Nurgle Deamon prince Typhus I was going with 2 or 3 10 man PM special weapons 5 man raptors with aspiring champion

2 2 model units of oblilators (sorry for spelling)

have another unit of raptors (minus the jump pack) of five models in a rhino with personal icon

then a greater deamon

and as many as possible lesser summoned deamons.

I don't have army builder or my codex in front of me so i don't know the point totals here. I'm just thinking outrageously lol

In the codex it says Greater deamons don't have saves and can only take a close combat weapon? I thought they had some type of save and could take a power weapon...

T6 Bikers +1T for being on a bike, + 1T for being a pus filled, bloated sack of of pestillence and disease. They end up being exspensive but lots of fun.

The bikers get the normal 4(5) toughness, and when you add MoN they become 4(6) toughness. Nasty really...

Greater Daemons are MC so they don't need a PW. No armor save, as they only have an invulnerable save.

Raptors have to have jump packs I'm assuming you mean regular CSM in a rhino? There really is no difference between the two outside of one has jump packs and the other also gets a bolter. But nurgle CSM is always fun being T5 gets under a lot of people's skin and when you start shrugging off wounds with feel no pain then they really get pissed.

Yea I was just logging on to say that I looked through the codex again and i saw that the raptors can't remove their jump packs oh well.

so replace that raptors unit with either a CSM or a KB yea it won't be completely nurgle but close enough

Anything with a mark of Nurgle can be a Nurgle unit.

Also, one of the coolest armies I have faced was an allied army of Chaos Daemons and Chaos Space Marines, all Nugle, with Epidemius. Looks so badass, they cover each other well and they get stronger as the kills mount up. Unfortunately, not tournament legal unless it's a doubles tournament, but I would let you run it out of sheer badassery.

Curb stomping in the Eye of Terror!

Sort of Nurgle thematic...

But a really nasty combo are bikers squad with MoN for T6 goodness... and a Slannish lord on a bike with a demon weapon. Every unsaved wound is ID!!

PERFECT delivery system to bring the PAIN!

BTW... not sure if you could do that since I don't have a CSM codex (someone jump in!)

Live Ork, Be Ork. or D'Ork!

the allied forces? i mean if you use a lot of summoned stuff i don't see why not.

but yea as soon as i unpack here i'm going to sit down and build a 2000 point nurgle army and post it so stay tuned and gimme your thoughts when i do

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Here's what I'm thinking

HQ:
Typhus 225 points

Troops:
10 Plague Marines - 315 points
2 plasma guns

10 Plague Marines - 310 points
2 plasma guns

6 Khorne Berzerkers - 247 points
2 plasma pistol
Personal Icon
Skull Champion power weapon
Rhino

5 T6 Bikers - 265 points
2 with meltagun
Biker Champion with power weapon

Heavy:

2 squads of 2 Obliterators - 150 points each

1 - Summon Greater Daemon
12 Summon Lesser Daemons - 156 points
13 Summon Lesser Daemons - 169 points

The way I see it with the amount of champions I'm running I can drop the Greater Daemon where ever it's needed the most.

The lesser Daemons will be called from the Berzerkers as needed just for a little extra punch

The other unit of the lesser daemons will be just a "just in case" drop

Not really a competitive force. PM units need Rhinos, 6 to 8 Marines per squad suffice - 7 is the favorite number of Nurgle. PM mounted units also provide a delivering system for the Daemons.
Typhus is too slow. You need to stick him to a unit of Termies.

wasn't going for a tourny list here, i'm not crazy about fluff but i think an all nurgle force just for casual games and this list would be perfect. I don't see why PM's need rhinos if I'm going to use them as objective holders.

Well, large battle shells of S8 or higher ignore FnP. PM units are better protected by Rhinos and can shoot 2 weapons from the top hatch.

Ok, if they have STR8 weapons, does the Nurgle +1 toughness count towards the double str instant death rule?

and I may or may not have removed typhus added daemon prince with wings (so he can keep up)

and added some rhinos. lol

No, it doesn't. This is what my French codex says.
