Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

There was an aliens board wargame with cardstock characters that was rather fun.

Otherwise look for Kryomek.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Also, if you don't mind Clix games, hunt down the AvP Horrorclix sets.

I'd recommend them. The detailing is pretty good (paint job is below average though). My entrire alien-nid army is made up of stuff from the AVP sets and two action figures blisters.

Yep, got both of them.

Still have both the boards for the Aliens boardgame (main+expansion) and ALL of the counters. Need to get new stands for the character standups though (lost them somewhere along the way).

I have drawn up the board layouts up on a gridded vinyl playmat for play with s5/28mm and it still works fine though (with alien figures and Grenadier's old Future warriors troopers (by Mark Copplestone).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I think a long time ago (like early 90's) there was a line of Aliens miniatures.. I think they were made by Leading Edge games or something like that.

Ugh,
Kryomek had cool figs, great fluff/art (in a RT kind of way) but the rules were quite clunky with lots of charts.

If you're looking for an aliens type game, I recommend WarEngine, modded 40k, or
http://www.rebelminis.com/raruandspbap.html
It's created for 15mm, but can be upsized to 28mm. It uses the Chain Reaction/5150 rules engine that's quite popular with the non-GW crowd.

There's alot of not-aliens and not-colonial marines figures avaialble. See the two follwing reviews for a great comparison of almost all the currently avaialable lines.

It's just a matter of finding a rulest you like.
