The new company that made that Griffon Rider kit now has a standard bearer

Face is pretty meh imo. Kinda ruins the rest of the model

Some news from the forge:

we have released our next product: Griffon Battle Standard Bearer for the Defenders of The Realm wave
we are running a giveaway on our Facebook fanpage

For more information jump to our blog.

Cheers
Titan-forge team

The Realm uses Griffon Standard Bearers in battle not only to increase the morale of their armies. They are also skilled in waving their banners and by that - sending percise orders to units that are high above the battlefield, waiting for their time to strike the unsuspecting enemy.

This model represents one Griffon Battle Standard Bearer.

This resin set contains:
1. Griffon Standard Bearer Body
2. Left hand with sword
3. Right hand
4. Standard's haft
5. Battle standard flag
6. Base

Scale: 28mm

Master model sculpted by Sławek Kościukiewicz.

Cost 11.00 €

Is that high heels?

As an outsider, as I know nothing about the game/world background, those feet look....wrong to me.

Apart from that, I like.

Cheers

Welcome to fantasy, where all bets on armour and it's practicality are relatively pointless (see: Chaos armour; yo dog, we heard you like spikes n skulls etc etc).

Personally I see little wrong with the model other than the hand holding the banner.

If it had a Helmet option it would look alot better.

And a little less breast in the breastplate please.

His a guy who prefer to be a woman, the armor is modeled that way because he had the money to it (and silicone is not available) lol

Ok, jokes apart, the models dont look so bad, not all girl in miniature games should look perfect. If stop to think about, womans are proud for their neuroses about beying beutifull and perfect, its not so unatural that a woman, whyle ordering a fine crafted armor, would ask for an "augmented" one. At least when we talk aboout full plates and breast plates, big tits are not so unrealistic...

except its a horrible idea if protection is the goal. the additional angles will catch and hold blows rather then deflect them and the armor will be easier to pierce.

small accomidations would make sense, but such unnatural ones are ludicrious.

Actually I like the face of the miniature, but not the high heel / steel butt plate armour. The right hand seems to be a compromise to have a removable flag.

Great model overall, the face is a slight let-down especially because the hair looks great. I quite like the foot armour tbh, it has a distinct fantasy feel to it.

A decent paintjob should pull the whole model together nicely!

HEY! Many of us may like 9 foot power armored super soldiers with rapid fire grenade launchers and chainswords, but there is a line in realism that should not be crossed!

I like sexy, but the face isn't great, the shoes look ridiculous, and she's either wearing shorts or has a steel plate wedgie.

She reminds me of Chyna from the WWF. Jonie Lawler I thinkn is her real name. I'm all right with the model. I like it better than GW's SoB.

Not really frowned upon, we just prefer more natural looking women.

That's a nice miniature... Very nice indeed, all over. ^_^

I'd like to see more female minis that are that well done. ^_^

And being true to real life doesn't really play a huge role in fantasy stuff, where humans in plate armor ride giant gryphons into the skies, and a small pendant worn around the neck can stop the blows from a maul wielded by a ten-foot tall ogre with the strength to knock open a heavy, barricaded wooden door with a couple of hits. Honestly, I prefer my female miniatures to be clearly defined as female, and form-fitting armor does that quite well. Sure, it's not like anyone sane would design battlefield armor like that in real life. But this is fantasy, where stuff is done for cool factor - be it aesthetics, lore, or other stuff - rather than an attempt at a highly realistic battlefield simulation.

Not really digging that model at all. Details are lacking for the most part, pose is boring, anatomy is a bit strange and the model is just meh overall.

How does she move her legs when her butt cheeks and calf armor consists apparently of a single plate.

Yeah, I think I'll give it a pass. This is a model made of silly. And not the good kind of silly. That and the banner pole seems to be the diameter of a small tree.

I think the face is wonderful. There are so many different sizes and shapes of human faces that it's nice to see something that isn't "cookie cutter."

My problem is with the braid. As soon as I looked at it, I knew something was wrong. Whoever did it probably knows what a braid looks like, but not how to make one. The plaits (or whatever they're called) are not laying right. The top left (first) part looks like it's coming from under something. if it's coming from that side, it should be coming straight from the dead. Braids have to start somewhere.

It's a small thig, but I noticed.

For the record, being a father with 4 kids (3 being girls) is my qualification for that knowledge. LOL
