You have such a great painting style. Keep that up, these boyz stand out from the rest of the ork lot.

The Nob could really use silver detailing on the armour to break up all those (albeit beautifully painted) repetitive orange surfaces.

Other than that, great work.

VERY impressive! I love the highlights and the shading, and your color choice is ace. However, there are two quick things to do which will really finish these models. First of all, you've got to drill those gun barrels! Secondly, you need to paint their eyes. Just a tiny dot of red is all you'll need to do, but it'll go a long way towards completing the miniature and giving some extra detail to the face. Awesome work, and I hope to see more!

I love the armor color and the highlighting. The skin tone is also highlighted beautifully. You got any more coming?

I'd love to see some warbikers, these boys are Evil Sunz correct?

I just took a look at your gallery and I liked what I saw. The Warboss is an uber-inventive conversion (I thought it was Forge World at first). One thing though, your red looks very yellow, was this intentional? Even if it wasn't I still like your models.

Thanks guys Yes there is a ton more coming, and yes the yellow is intentional.

hey where did you get the nob head to cause its awesome

How many Space Marines does it take to screw in a lightbulb.

6, 1 techpriest and 5 tacticals that stand around trying to pose like badasses.

An Ork, Space Marine and Eldar are walking down the road. They see a Chaos portal that has a sign on it. It says: 'say what is true or be sucked in'. The Space Marine says: "I think I'm the bravest" and walks past safely, the Eldar says: "I think I'm the most agile" and walks past safely. The Ork says: "Me thinks..." and gets sucked into the portal.

I'd like to know how you painted the green.

The orange looks great, but I'm more of a yellow person.
But the shade of green would work on yellow.
So, how did you do it? ^^

I used greyscale technique for the skin. Its simple, just start with a white primer, wash with badab black, and then again with thraka green, and done.

I'm glad this old thread was revived. I love how these Orks are painted and I'll be using this as an inspiration! I would have never seen this otherwise.

Normally, I paint my boyz with lots of variation within the mob since they are supposed to be a bunch of individuals, not an army with uniforms. But there is something undeniably cool looking about having the entire unit tied together in the same color pattern.

The only problem is that with the new rules, you can't have 'eavy armor on a boss nob of regular boyz.
