Does anyone collect a few armies at the same time? I was debating whether or not to start a beastman or a scaven army and I finally decided on beastmen. However I still kinda find myself wanting a scaven army so I think I will just start collecting them simultaneously. How many people do this?

I am doing 40K Orks and Fantasy Skaven at the same time

really fun to have both armies i can tell.

But why the hell is it horde amies i fall for.. I am so damn broke!

Haha I always love horde armies too. Thats why I want the skaven... They just look so forboding on the table

Well I'm building a Skaven and an Orc & Goblin army, I'm a bit broke but other than that it's going fine

I have WoC BA and crons.

Horde armies are kind of cool since it can make your opponent feel good about himself (well it makes me feel good atleast) when you can kill a ton of stuff and its like yay

It's not only fun to play against but also fun to collect

. Yeah it is expensive but it's a blast!

Oh man ya I played a game with 2 50 man marauder units yesterday and it was a blast.

The 2 local skaven players here one have probs over 10k easy and the other over 6k easy so many silly little rats.

I kind of want a horde but I am a student so its warhammer or food :( well not that bad but yea we all know how it goes.

I have Dwarves and Dark Elves right now, and I'm looking into either Orcs and Goblins or Empire.

But I try to focus specifically on 1 army for periods at a time, because back when I was young I had like 4 small 1,000 point armies while everyone else was hitting 1,500 or higher.

My problem is building armies. I am into dwarfs, beastmen and ogres and have anywhere from 1-2 fully unbuilt battalions for each. I also have some Orks and CSM in about similar unbuilt state. I am highly considering picking up a day laborer from Home Depot's parking lot to shave off mold lines.

Im going for 1 horde, 1 'good', 1 'bad', 1 shooty, 1 magic heavy, 1 neutral army.

Orcs, Dwarfs, Ogres and im absolutely stuck for my magic heavy. I want it colourful as the others bar dwarfs are dingy. Guys, Daemons or Lizards? I pref 25mm as i got fat fingers^.

Lizards over daemons for magic, nothing beats a slann for dramatic casting potential

So lizards trump DoC. I just cant help not go for another low I army, Id like the chance to go 1st for a change!

Got the daemon book here, but will get a lizards on the cheap. Loremaster looks so cool, able to make a build around magic sounds sweet. I will make a thread asking for a summary. Cheers.

I continly work on my armies, althou my Blood pact has seen a bit of stopp in the terms of new stuff( Damn you forgeworld for beeing so costly!) So for the time beeing Im working on my Easterlings and my beastmen

Well, I'm currently building 40k Orks and Daemons, plus WFB Lizzies, Daemons, and even a few Beastmen(mostly chariots though). I'm trying to scratchbuild as much as possible because I'm pretty much broke at the moment.

I want to (someday faaaar in the future) have a bunch a varied armies like that. The hardest part for me is deciding what army to build next

...taht and trying to keep myself from buying units that don't fit my army

I want to have my horde army, a chaos army, an elf army, my tyranids, and a dark eldar. They seem like impossible goals so i will probably only end up with the horde the chaos and my tyranids....but the dream is alive.

I got to 2k with actual units I want to use for all of them except Orcs. The BO and SOs are very expensive. Im deciding which id like to expand to 2999 for some cool larger battles but still only double rare rules. So its either expand my fav army or get another to 2k to complete my 'dream'.

You can get the 'one of each' in only 4 armies though. I chose Orcs as horde and bad as chaos is too elite for me and would up the army wishlist^

Might sell dwarfs and get HE, this way I get magic heavy and goodies in one, but rumours of a new book stop this.
