I have a daemon army i built for 40k and I am thinking about converting it to be able to play in WHFB. What I am wondering is what changes are made between the two? are the list building the same or do i have to change everthing around? I am very new to fantasy so I dont really know the ins and outs.

Just put them in movement trays really. There is no longer a force composition chart, the way it works is up to a certain percentage may take up your army. For Lords it's up to 25%, same for heroes and rares, Specials up to 50% can be taken and for core there is no limit other then you must take at least 25% of your force as core. You do need 3 units. As for as duplicates go you can have up to 3 of the same type of specials and up to 2 of the same type of rare in games over 3,000 these numbers double for rare and special duplicates.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

Lotr movement trays are the way to go.

They have pre made slots are easy to magnetize and are in general easier and less time consuming to deal with.

Several people at my store do that like the manager for example.

suggestion 30 man units of blood letter are nice to have.
