Heya, dakkamen.

I have to get couple GK questions answered before weekend games

Can gray knight units cast hammerhand or warpquake and use their force weapon's instant death rule in the same turn?

Can different models in gray knight units cast different spells? For example in 10 man unit, can 3 cast hammerhand and the 7 cast warpquake?

And finally, how many weapons can stormraven (fast, skimmer) shoot when arriving via deep strike?

Thanks

Depends. If they're Psyker Mastery Level 2, then they can. If not, then it's one or the other.

Nope. You just get one casting of whatever single power you choose, and then it affects everyone in that squad (or it is as if everyone cast it, in the case of warp quake), but at the end of the day, it's one psychic test, one power.

And finally, how many weapons can stormraven (fast, skimmer) shoot when arriving via deep strike?

As many as a fast skimmer can fire when moving at cruising speed (plus power of the machine spirit).

So,6,as it has 4 defensive missiles, and 2 weapons it is normally allowed to shoot. If you arm it with sponsons(without psybolt)then it increases to 8.

Page 58 of the rulebook, "Vehicles that move at cruising speed cannot fire."

Page 95 of the rulebook, "Vehicles count as having moved at cruising speed."

POTMS lets you fire an additional weapon. So you get one weapon from POTMS, and no defensive weapons, because you didn't move at combat speed.

Hope that clears it up.

It is a fast vehicle,so moving at cruising speed it gets the same firing options as a vehicle moving at combat speed. So he can fire 2 weapons(normal 1 +1 for PoTMS)and his missiles and sponsons(without psybolt) as they are defensives.

That is why the SR is one of the most hated vehicles in the game.It has the ability to transport 12 modals/6 JI/Termies and a Dreadnought, and fire more or less every thing, and allow the unit to assault, and move 24",and be immune to melta, and allow units to exit after falt out,and is cheaper than the Land Raider.

Not "immune" to melta, just you dont get the extra dice.

The best bit is the firing a multimelta / lascannon after going flat out and gaining a 4+ cover save, whci hyour libby then increases to a 3+
