Does anybody know any online stores that either do multibuy discounts, or simply cost less than purchasing models direct from games workshop, or other cheap ways to buy units aside from ebay?
Just because I like playing 40k doesn't mean I like games workshop, lol.

Dakka swap shop, amazon, pretty much any online retailer other then GW will be some kind of discount. Look through the adds here on dakka. Some of them are for online shops that do offer various dicounts.

...with the notable exception of FW, which is about 20% more expensive then non-fine cast models.

Kinda. They are Citadel using a GW license, as opposed to GW using Citadel miniatures.

I buy my models from Great Lakes Hobby and toy. They give a 20% discount on anything Games Workshop.

"As I looked into its dead black eyes, I saw the terrible sentinence it had in place of a soul. Behind that was the steel will of its leader. Further still I could feel its primogenitor coldly assessing me from the void. And looking back from the deepest recesses of the aliens mind I perceived what I can describe only as an immortal hunger.
We can slay the tyranids on our worlds, blast their fleets from space, grind their armies to torn and ruined fragments. But their hunger? That is beyond our ability to slay."

For many years now, I've 'looted' the 2nd hand goods room of larger conventions (many players of various games will sell their stuff there, the con takes a small percentage fee, and passes on sales totals to them each day).
My 4500pt GK army cost me $800 this way (and not $2500).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

Dicebucket.com gets you 20% off for New In Box items. It goes up to 25% if you just buy the sprue.
EDIT: Though, judging by your flag, you might be a bit beyond their sphere of influence.

Nice site! thanks for posting. Price isn't really and object for me (have two mantas) but it still feels good to be getting more for less.

Two Mantas? How have you been coping without that arm and leg?

Is there actually a point to owning 2 Mantas? I mean, even one is difficult to fit on an Apocalypse table.

One is Sa'cea, one is T'au :$
Plus I usually play 4000 pts, but I HAVE played a few 7500 pt games.

Makes perfect sense. If I had the money and collected Tau I'd do it just so one could have the number 1 on it and the other the number 2 or whatever the Tau equivalent is.
