I have found on 2 of their model these lightsaber looking things. As I like to be wasiwig i may need to take these off.
They are only on 2 models. Pathfinders w/Rail rifles on the belt besid the grenades and on the Krootox 2 down each flank.
They are not grenades, those go in their canister thing.(Codex and IA vol 3)
They are not powercells those are in the pockets(IA vol 3)
They are not the sensor unit.
They are not the bonding knife.
The only other thing that i could find was the water evaporator but they look nothing like these.(IA vol3)
What are these?

Looked at both models. No clue what you are talking about.

That's obviously ammunition for the Kroot Gun.

So why would the exact same object be on a Rail Pathfinder?

It's the side of the grenade/ammunition canister.

No its not I have both of these models it looks completely diff than the grenade canister.
Id say dave is right. but it sill perplexs me

The top of one can be seen on the laying down one and as you can see it has a sloted top where the grenades have the nipples on top

Why did you assume it was a lightsaber based solely on the fact that it's small and metallic?

Thought it looke very similar
It basicly 3 cylindes inside on another with the top tier the fatest and bottome the smallest. I looks just like a lightsaber handle. the middle cylinder has a weird cut to it not just straight across

on his belt beside the grenades, They have painted the bottom of it sept color

It could be a charge pack for the Rail Rifle. The prone Pathfinder has one lying in the ground in front of him.

They put the same paint job on the laying down one to. Its right beside the gun on the ground.

They're grenades. Before you say know, remember FW have two types of grenades, those are disc grenades. The arm in mid-grenade throw on the sprue is throwing one of these types of grenade.

They're definitely not the same. The dimensions are very different from what I can see in the picture.

The mid throw arm is a disc grenade. and if these were emp nads why only give them to rail path and krootox(who cant even get nades)
Best i can come up with is the Krootox gun uses the same Rail tech as the portable Rail guns, But thats still a strech

The Kroot Gun is just a large caliber rifle. The details on the Krootox and Pathfinders are only related in that they are cylindrically-shaped.

Like I said im just stumped on what they could be.
Think they would be wasiwig? I cut the nades off of my path cause i dont run them should i cut these too?

At the end of the day, it's just another miscellaneous detail on your models. I wouldn't stress it.

No, they disc in the hand is sidewaysm so the broadside of it is visible.

well put it stays
random: he was reffering the nades v the object. The grenade arm is a grenade from the canister. The object in question looks very differnt than one grenade in a hand.

Oh, I see. No that is for sure a spare power pack for the rail rifle. Look at the gun. And also, it is canon that the power pack gets replaced every shot.
