As the name says, I am wondering if the Thunderwolf cavalry model actualy exist. I know there is Canis Wolfborn but other than that I can't seem to find any. I like the rules but I'm not sure I could convert one.

There are plenty of manufacturers out there that make 28mm Wolves. Just buy a couple of those and stick some Space Wolves on them.

The obvious option is to buy a bunch of copies of Canis on his Warhamster and just replace the extra Canis' with regular Space Wolf parts.

There are also a bunch of small companies out there producing resin wolves in an appropriate size.

IMO the best kit that involves the least actual work. also 3 wolves cost about what one canis does.

The new ogres have some large plastic beasts, you could either use them as is or try to find a way to sculpt or mount wolf heads on them.

I've also heard of people using the lions from the high elf chariot.

I've seen that done. They actually don't look that bad for a marine mount.

Do you have photos of said lion mounts? I'm curious.

Violence is not the answer, but it's always a good guess.
