Right, first things first sorry that this is another TWC post, buts its aim is to permanantly rid us of them. Its about time we had a sticky for this subject... not a week goes by when someone asks what the options are and it can get a bit much. So, moderator... please make this a sticky.
That said, down to business - Here are the ones i know feel free to add your own ideas too.
FTL
Paulson Games
Also sold separatly. Each wolf is a 6 part resin model, comes unpainted and unassembled. Resin calvary bases and saddles with armored leg sets are included (not currently pictured) Monsterous riding wolf may be built without the saddle if desired. To help, I believe the cheapest are the mythicast.
The best bang for the buck are Mr. Dandy.
And the best are probably the Masq-Mini. This is all based off of personal observations.

A friend at the FLGS has been using the Plastic D&D direwolves as his thunder wolves. A little Greenstuff and some modeling skills to get rider legs attached and viola! thunder wolves. and they are pre-painted....

personally i think the mr dandy ones are a bit too hyena looking.
i went for 3 of the refined ebay ones for my lords, iron priest etc and then mythicast for the TWF as they look really ferocious and are one just smaller than canis and fangir so it fits the fluff perfectly. also they come with legs attached so i have pinned my bodies so that i can change weapon load outs easily and cheaply and have spare legs to sell on etc

I just barely finished making a Wolf Lord on TW mount using this model. He turned out really cool. I'll get some pics posted up when I finish his base work.

I just wanted to say that I recommend Mr. Dandy figures. I ordered both his and the Paulson Games, and Mr. Dandy threw in 5 extra resin Dreadnought bases and around 10 regular infantry bases. All that for only one wolf! Plus, his arrived within two weeks (as opposed to, say, mythicast's 3-4 weeks of delivery without the 33 bucks extra express shipping).
I am not an experienced painter and am brand new to Warhammer 40k, but I noticed a marked difference in quality between the two (Mr. Dandy v Paulson Games, and to me the 5 bucks extra was worth it for little to no mold lines, no gaps after assembly, extra bases, and fast shipping. Plus, I always get a compliment on the Mr. Dandy part even though the paint job is lacking (read: from a noobie).
I have ordered three more from Mr. Dandy and am very happy with my investment.
I apologize if this is inappropriate for this thread considering it's an endorsement and all, but I feel this will help someone who was in my shoes a month ago.
If you're like me and want, say, a Wolf Lord and fenrisian wolves, you can do what I did and order two cheap ones from paulson games, and a Mr. Dandy one and the size difference is enough to make them perfect (read: Mr. Dandy's wolves are too big, in my opinion, to be fenrisian wolves but perfect size for thunderwolves). Ergo, you have a great set up for Thunderwolf Lord and two Fenrisian Wolves. Mythicast does, however, offer the same package deal for only 33 bucks!
I cannot attest to mythicast's quality, so I am just reporting on what I do know. Happy Hunting!

Has anyone got any info on this helldorado model that looks like it may be perfect (to me anyway) for thunderwolves?
I can't find anything on how big it is.

While trying to decide if I wanted to start a Space Wolf army I found these for possibleThunderwolf options (I decided to start IG instead). I was wondering whether people had seen them. I was going to start a new thread but found this one was already here. So, hopefully no one minds me necroing a five month old thread! I hope that this will be able to help someone! I have found another cool Thunderwolf option... It's like the Scibor bear. Ramshackle Games Armoured Bear x 5 They're fairly reasonably priced at £20 for five. They come with rider legs too! http://shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16&products_id=338 I also found this at Ramshackle Games. Ramshackle Games Giant Wolf Cheap at £2 each. http://shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=23_39&products_id=317 http://shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=23_39&products_id=318 Ramshackle Games is also has other awesome stuff. *Braces himself for necro rage that he hopes will not come*
