Picture's a bit fuzzy, but from what I can see the skin looks pretty gorgeous--what's your technique?

I undercoated the skin dark angels green, then I highlighted it with Knarloc green. I then highlighted it again with goblin green. After that I gave It a wash of thraka green. when this was dry I went and picked out any areas where you would see muscles with goblin green, followed by goblin green mixed with skull white. To finish I washed the skin with thraka green.
I know, this process is to long to be properly implemented as an army painting technique, but its good for commanders. If you want Ill post pictures of the process.

Thanks for the comments! I worked on it some more tonight, but I'm still not completely happy with it
A close up on the broken auspex scanner I added:
I hate cameras, they pick up every little mistake you make and magnify it tenfold. The model looks a lot better in real life.

+1
That is one sweet looking boy got! I use a similar style on higher ranking models in my army (like warbosses and Snikrot) but if you do that o an entire army you can kiss your sanity goodbye
If you like the clean look I recommend going goblin green -> 50/50 goblin green/bleached bone block highlights -> bleached bone fine details -> Thraka green
That gives a similar look and feel and saves alot of time. For a dirtier look apply Devlan Messiah!

Im not actually doing my entire army like that (the model took 12 hours to paint- 12 times 100+ = 1200+ hours ) this was just a test to see how good I can do.
Thanks for the painting scheme, Ill be sure to try it.
