Looking for feedback on my Raider scheme, I'm going for a subtle gradient look. (The Sails and Lances are not attached to all, there may be a tad bit of dust on them, so please ignore any specks.):

Just realized the lines have not been filled in, on this one, mainly looking for feedback on the gradient.

The shading is solid if not spectacular, and it's a really nice choice of colour. What are you thinking of painting the other bits? Just gonna keep them dark or go for another bright, complimentary colour?

Thanks for the feedback, as of now I have no immediate plans, what would you suggest?

Teal, and blue work really well with pink. as does gold.

Seeing as you have a pretty dark looking pink as the main colour (at least that's what the pictures show) i would stick to dark shades for any other colours you choose.

It's your model though, and i would list myself as only an average painter who tends towards bright and clashing colours XD

I would love to change the metallic to gold, but knowing that I to am only an average painter, I'd probably mess it up! Something I dont want (I know, practice makes perfect). I like the idea of a blueish color for the gems and such, as of now I have been using contrasting colors (green).

To clarify, it is liche purple to warlock purple, gradually built up.

I would shade it down to black, or a really, really, dark purple, increase the contrast to make it pop. Rule of thumb; smaller the mini, higher the contrast!

nice color by the way.

Thanks. That makes sense, I'll try that out on the one I'm about to do, if the camera cooperates I'll post up pictures.

Please, adjust the white balance as well. I almost thought you were going with gold for the metallics in the first pic.

I like what you've done so far. It reminds me of the Covenant vehicles from Halo.

Only models that are completely finished belong in the P&M Showcase. Moving to P&M.
