He Guy’s,
Razorback question here….
If I take a Razorback as transport option for a unit of 6.
Is it possible if I don’t put them in the Razorback at the beginning of the game to have a Wolfguard detached to them?
When yes then I can even give him Terminator armour?

You can attach a wolf guard, but he cannot have terminator armor.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?

Willy - why not?
He's already said he is NOT deploying them IN the razorback, as they are a unit of 6 models already - the WG would be a 7th and couldnt fit.
To the OP: if you dont deploy the models IN the razorback YES you can attach ANY Wolf Guard you wish to them. So yes, you can add a Cyclone termi to your Long fangs with missiles

Yes, buying transports for units too large to fit in them is quite common. Some codexes restrict this (a unit of 5 models or less bla bla bla...), but most don't. It allows for things like taking a 10-man codex tactical squad with a razorback, so you can combat squad and transport one half. It also means you can buy transports for units that don't have them as an option, or so both combat squads have a transport.
Long story short, yes you can. But only the unit it was bought for can start the game inside the vehicle.

...and any attached Wolf Guard, if they can fit, as at deployment he becomes a member of that squad in all respects.

That's not actually the issue here, though, since he bought the razorback for a unit of 6.
The Wolf Guard isn't assigned to the unit until deployment. He has no impact on the unit's options during army list creation.

I do this all the time. 10 man GH squad with a HQ or WG attached, and buy a razorback for them. They grab/protect closer objectives and have the RB to provide cover/cover fire.

Ok here I see why this could be illegal, you already buy a 10 man squad so I think you can't take a Razor ( IMHO).
But after reading the armybook it says you split a WG from his Wolf Guard pack to assign him to a GH squad, the squad already has the Razor in his unit, they just can't use it now that they are 7.

Your opinion is explicitly wrong: note the unit entry has no restrictions on unit size able to buy the dedicated transport.

Exactly. I can give my full squad of 15 bloodclaws with their wolfguard leader and wolf priest IC attached a rb. Fully legal. Only the bloodclaws are allowed to start the game in it, but due to size they're disqualified, but it's still legal to buy it for them. Nothing says you have to start inside your dedicated transport.
