Here is a newly repainted Eldar Dire Avenger. This is my first time blending. Tell me what you think.

I like the color choices, its definitely bright and eye popping. Basing work is good as well.

2 minor suggestions:

1. the black on the helmet plume. highlight it. if you are going to the level of detail / complimentary colors, go that 1 extra step. there are several how to articles online on how to get a really nice blue level highlight on black.

2. gem work. consider painting all gems, there's the how to paint gems which I believe is in either the High Elves WFB Army bood, or the 40K Eldar Codex. you could go with green or black gems of your chosing.

The models is nicely done. The extra minor steps will make it even more eye catching. If you are doing a lot of blending consider using either the plastic from the blisters OR a wet tray. I used to use my paint station as well, however i found working on the plastic is easy by adding little bits of water. A wet tray can be made dirt cheap by a metal box and paper towel. Then you put a think layer of water to keep the towel moist, but not tearing.

I love it, as I said on your other thread, only one thing I have to say is I think the tabbard would look beter a diferent colour maybe a darkish blue?
