Deadly Dark Eldar Warrior

Howdy.

I've been interested in giving the dark kin some choices for Apocalypse games for some time now, but I have little to no experience coming up with custom units. I think that large, robust tanks and walkers such as the Baneblades and Warhounds of the Imperium are too slow and cumbersome fo the denizens of the Dark City. However, large slave barges, and the quick and sleek Titans similar to those of the Eldar are something that they would use. Additionally, gargantuan creations of Haemonculii covens would fit into their fluff.

I would also like to start working on some Apoc formations for the Dark Eldar, but again, not having a whole lotta ideas pop up into my head.

So any suggestions or ideas from you guys to get me started would be great.

Thanks!

I would say the eldar phantom titans, with Dark eldar weaponry. And don't forget the spikes! Dark eldar have to have spikes!

According to canon, the Dark Eldar do not use titans, they do not fit how they fight and how they raid, prefering sleek fast assaults

And frankly Titans are not the Dark Eldar style anyway, though plenty of people use/convert them which is all well and good - the Eldar Titans are awesome and pretty and their shadow counterparts are invaribly cooler looking.

The Haemonculi however - now there's an excuse to introduce megalithic creations to the DE.

Giant Grotesques, shambling monstrosities of flesh and bone, mobile torture chambers and their oversized guards

I have been working on a DE Titan, and it still should be on here maybe even the first page so it hasn't hit necro level yet. A fast slave barge as a super heavy fast skimmer could be interesting. GC could be interesting and definently within the fluff for a haemonculus.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.
