So, Stormboyz(Ork Jump Infantry) are often underused for being thought of as overpriced.

Your poll should have an option for "No, they are fine as they are now", which to be honest, they are.

They are hands down the best fast assault unit in the game.

I think this should be about Zagstruck and stormboyz, if he was worth taking more people would love the stormboyz. As of right now, people either love them or think they are a waste. I think they are good, I just wish their kit came with a PK and bosspole, because who runs a squad without that. C'mon GW

Well, I don't think it should be about Zagstruk, he's a poor use of points, IMO. My question is about the price of Stormboyz themselves. When compared to Trukks and BW's, they are inferior.

I realize that BW's are limited to Heavy Support choices and Nob/MANZ DT's, but seriously:

20 Boyz, Nob upgrade w/PK, BP and a Battlewagon w/Deffrolla, AP, Big Shoota all for 285 points,

or

20 Stormboyz, Nob upgrade w/PK, BP for 280 points.

The Stormboyz will move slightly faster and can ignore terrain for most movement purposes, but this vs. a battlewagon with a deffrolla? Hard to pass up the extra unit, drawing fire, wrecking vehicles, and tank shocking troops with extra S10 hits thrown in.

Zagstruk has too many negatives, IMO. PK at I4 on the charge is great, but 1st round only, and that's if he gets the charge?

So, single round PK. MUST deploy via deepstrike, which offers a chance to lose the entire unit. Can't shoot, can assault, IF you're in range.....oh, and losing 1-3 Stormboyz on the deep strike. Bad use of manpower.....
