Hey, first-off, I love the Harridan model. Assuming I had the money, would they be worth taking, or is the money better spent on a Hierophant? Also, do they act as Flyers, or as flying Gargantuan Creatures (as it seems to be implied in Imperial Armour 4)?

Get the phant. With a 3+ invuln, they are insane.
No one wants to face that.

Tyranids attract more tang than an astronaut convention.

The 3+ invuln is debatable. The INAT FAQ's (if you follow that) says they only get their 6++, not the new 3++. Best to discuss it with your opponent first.

No, the harridan is not an actual Flyer. He would have to be of the Type: Flyer to gain their special rules. Instead, he is only a gargantuan creature that can move 24".

I'd go for the hierophant. 3++ or not, he is still a beast!

Yeah I was thinking similarly, but the Harridan is such a beautiful model. I don't think I can afford one for the time being, but I would definitely like to get one of the two in the future.
