Hey guys have any of you bought anything from him?
He had 100+ positive reviews when I bought stuff and because I did not recieve it I looked back and he have got 62 negative reviews in about 2 weeks.

Not personally no.....
But I always make a point of checking the feedback as far back as I can if I'm gonna drop more than say £5 on anything on eBay..... Automatically Appended Next Post: Edit: I'm sorry that happened dude, complain with eBay, chalk it to experience and move on

Just Checking the feedback and this guy looks shocking.
I'm sorry to hear you got scammed, being an ebay buyer myself and have had this happen to me before, I know what it feels like. But I obviously got my money back.

Seems odd that the feedback was excellent until later on into August, then it seems to go pear shaped at an alarming rate....
If he is a scammer then he played a very patient game. Building up a solid number of positive feedback then taking the money and seemingly doing a runner, very strange indeed!
Hope it gets sorted quickly for you and the rest of the unfortunate buyers.....

The only other alternative situation I can think of is that this seller has popped his clogs/got arrested & jailed or something similar

Is there anything you can do to recoup the money you spend such as open up a case against him and looking into ebay protection to see what they can do for you?

Opened a case which I should get my money back.
The first suspicious signs were that his prices were extremely low. £35 for black reach kit with free delivery.
I also thought on how strange it is that he have lots good reviews up till now but suddenly started to do scamming.
Reasons I can think of are:
His arrested trying to sell stolen goods
His died in an unfortunate accident
His an extremely patient scammer but doesn't realise ebay will refund us all out of his bank acount.
His acount got hacked.

I read on his feedback that eBay were aware of his behaviour for at least 48 hrs.....
Unfortunate to say the least!

This is why I usually avoid e-bay, they have zero control over these things, since anyone can put up a picture of a product and price it, and they can use other companies logos as their own as well.
Amazon.com isn't that much better, but, I've had better luck with amazon than ebay.
I'm sorry that happened, but, remember, if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't.
