Methinks that is for the comissioner to decide. The left shoulderpad was left blank.

Boy, that space marine replaced a whole lot of his body....including his jaw!

He's from the client's own 'Pandora Chapter' a harsh-conditions specialist chapter (hence the heavy weathering). who love their bionics, perhaps a little *too* much. The chapter symbol wouldn't have been placed on the left shoulder anyway, but it's likely to be the stylised cog (left forearm, centre of backpack) or a buzzsaw blade in boltgun metal. More discussions with the client about that.

Have to agree! That forearm gun is amazing! Excellent Idea. The paintjob is spot on, especially matching your clients criteria. Great job. Keep it up!

It's pretty heavily scratch built, by two of us who work through Winterdyne Commission Modelling; John produced the true-scaling base armour, and did the bulk of the sculpt on the techmarine. I did a few tweaks on the techmarine and built the servo-skulls, before doing the paintjob. The first actual multi-artist job we've done, and I think it came out brilliantly.

Holy weathering, Batman! Wow, this is a really astounding mini. Really, the only thing I don't like is the "jaw" part of the helmet, but if that's what the commisioner likes, then I think he'll be very, very pleased with the money spent.

It's mostly based on a resin kit that Winterdyne will be putting out. Be warned, its a 'bare bones' kit, but a great blank for Power Armour, 1/48 MaK type suits etc. Once Games Day is out of the way I'll be working up some detailed variants, along with a 'how to use the blanks' article.

The purple is an odd choice in color, but the painting is top notch. Love the scratched armor and chipping. The servoskull holding a bolt pistol is also hilarious to me.

Great job!

If you don't mind my asking, how did you paint his armor? I like that bone or concrete kind of look to the armor.

The armour is VMA Sand Yellow, shaded down with VMA Hemp and highlighted up with VMA Sand. Devlan mud to shade down a bit. Chipping done by hand with VMC Leather brown and VMC Ivory. VMC Ivory also used for extreme highlights. The purple (hormagaunt purple) was a client request, as was the choice of colours.
