Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

I was thinking about starting a Nordland Rifle army, and have planned the colour scheme...

here it is:

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

Here is the basis of the army:

Nordland Rifle Korps ''Kallblodigade'' (Cold Blooded in swedish)

Since the army is based off of northern Europe, all the names are Swedish or Norwegian, except the names of the Wizards
(I'm making the names up as I go )

Wizard of Life
Daedalon Seranus

Wizard of Fire
Fernious Incergion

Nordland Captain with Hammer and Pistol
Bjórn Holmberg

Nordland Catain with Sword and Shields
Fredek Barlund

Rifle Company 1. (40 Handgunners)
Commander: Sven Òlsson

Rifle Company 2. (40 Handgunners)
Commander: Leif Jørgensen

Halberd Company 1. (20 Halberdiers)
Commander: Knut Söderholm

Halberd Company 2. (20 Halberdiers)
Commander: Vladislav Gordiensky

Cannon Company 1. (3 Great Cannons)

Colour Schemes:

Blue: Necron Abyss, Regal Blue, Ultramarines Blue,
Skull White 1:2 Ultramarines Blue highlight, Asurmen Blue.

Yellow: Iyanden Darksun, Gryphonne Sepia,
Iyanden Darksun 1:1 Golde Yellow highlight.

Red: Mechrite Red, Red Gore, Blood Red highlights.

Metal: Chainmail, Badab Black, Mithril Silver highlights.

Nice. I always love it when people name their minis. Colours sound good too. Good luck with it.

Waaagh! Warbiker

I think the names sound great. Other then Flammeus, thats not so good. I think you could put a bit more work into it.

Maybe Fernious (inferno is the base word). Vulcos (Vulcan, Volcano, Vulcanolagist)

"Da Mek'z tinker nd do their job
The boys 'll smash yah, so will da Nob
The Bos 'll stompa till your dead
Snikrot 'll kill ya wiff is hands behind is 'ead!"

^^^^ Ode to Snikrot, the Sneakiest, Stabbiest, Morkiest, Kommando to ever walk the face of whoever looked at him funny! Tourne W/D/L 6/0/0 Public W/D/l 24/2/8 All with my orksof course

Flammeus is a tweak of the Latin word ''Fire'', but Fernious sounds better.

Underneath your painting desk

Ignis also means fire. Ignius Incergion? I like the alliteration...

On a more relevant note though, I love your colorscheme as well as your theme. Names are always fun, I'm considering naming my dwarfs as well. Adds a bit of interest to the game, as well as character to the model... Can't wait to see some painted up!

The name would be good, but I personally don't like that Fantasy Characters have names that both start with the same letter...

I was actually planning to name all of them, but 120 guys is a bit too much

UPDATE!

The test figure is ready...
I was going to do the test scheme on a Bretonnia Figure, until I discovered an Old Skool Empire halberdier
It had some green stuff on it, and I couldn't remove all of it, so I left it black (it's on the back side).

He is my first Halberdier Sergeant (unless I change my mind and do 100 handgunners), and his name is Knut Söderholm.

Hope you like the colour scheme.

Thanks, I personally think that the Halberd is too dark, but I didn't have the time to fix it.

Edit: Forgot the ''d'' on the word Halberd
