Hello, I'm still rather new to this whole world but I have been seeing Titan's being posted on this forum. Is there somewhere I can buy one? Or are most homemade? Please, if anyone has any details as to where I can obtain or create a Titan, please let me know. Thank you!

Anything bigger than a reaver will require some elbow grease and faith in the emperor though. Those are all scratch built.

Greyguy - you can also find the old armourcast models from years back, which are "ok" (blooming heavy...!) and may be cheaper, however if you want new and want some of the sexiest gun-age in 40k, then head on over to forgeworld.

Just whatever yo udo dont look at the price. Just choose what you want, add to basket, pay and wait for the parcel!

Platicard, if you want a stockist for anything wargaming related, i'm the man. And you need a lot of it. So offcuts are your best friend. Here is a good one, £2.50 for a metre offcut.

http://www.shgmodels.com/acatalog/

Not that it is very useful, it's all in sterlings.

I'm sure that you could find a good place on the other side for plasti-card.

Anybody know a company over there that sells decent offcuts?

Also some people use a mix between foamboard (or foamcore, as it is commonly known as) AND plasticard, if you don't have the time or funding to do a full plastic miniature.

Better you than me TBH.

HAHA, that is sadistically funny. Although they do have a habit of moving.

I love how the MARS PATTERN REAVER TITAN costs £415.00 and has (free delivery) highlighted - like it matters -.

All orders above £300 get free delivery, they just put the (free delivey) message on anything that itself costs more than £300. You'll see it also on the Tau Manta, Imperial Fortress Walls, etc.

And it matters. Delivery adds up - and they do free express airmail. While you may have spent a lot on that Reaver, paying another £50 on delivery is annoying. It's good customer service - buy lots of our stuff, have the perk of not paying delivery.

I've also heard of places online that if you send them the design specs that you've made in a CAD program they'll build it for you. Guy from work was planning on doing a series of titans (warhound and reaver iirc) and they worked out to be less than $250 AUD each. Including shipping.

Look I get you but you sorta expect free delivery for items that expensive, highlighting it is a bit much - its like Dragons Den - we know they are all rich people so why do they bring all their money to the table - its like showing off - there is no need to highlight it - its like forge world is saying "Look we are doing you a favor by getting rid of delivery costs" if you have £415 to spend on miniatures then spending a few quid on delivery is not that big of deal.

Scratch built Titans are the best, but if you have the money than definitely buy one! Scratch built cost way less but if your skills at making things look good suck like mine than good luck!
