So Eldar Aspect Warriors are pretty striking, figured I'd just make a nice simplistic poll to see which Aspect people considered the prettiest

I owuld have voted warp spiders if not for their old models which kind of let them down IMO, so I chose howling banshees.

Shadow Spectres I think, however Fire Dragons and Striking Scorpions are close.

Personally I find DAs the most striking, very pretty blue and lovely crests

Also got the coolest fan art, imo.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

Personally I think DA are all out of whack, their heads are way too big and they look all wrong to me. I like dark reapers personally but I like all the aspect warriors, barring the warp spiders whose models suck.

The current Scorpions are terrible, I absolutely can't stand the Predator headdresses. The RT/2E ones were great, though.

It's between Howling Banshees and Warp Spiders for me.

Depends if we are talking, based on art and their overall design, then Warp Spiders 100%, who sorely need some new models asap.

If we are talking current figure range, probably Fire Dragons or Howling Banshees.

However I went with overall design, and voted for Warp Spiders.

Fire Dragons, but I think it really depends on the paint job.

DA, but only if they are painted to a 'eavy Metal way, with deep, shiy blue, and pure, clean white helmets, with bright red crests, shded to look like it is individula bristles.

Otherwise it would be striking scorpians, or Fire Dragons, with the same type of job.

Striking Scorpions and Banshee models show their age to me, and as such do not get my vote. The Shining Spears are a bit bland. Warp Spiders are a favourite, mostly for the large surface where I can commit attempted freehand.
For Fire Dragons I actually prefer the old (3rd edition) models. There's not much change, but their feet and helmets are a touch more exciting in my opinion.
I must say that the Shadow Spectres are the best executed, though, but they do have the benefit of modern production techniques.

Henners, isn't that Baharroth?

I really need to stay away from the 40K forums.

I've always liked the Aspects. But as far as models go:

3rd ed HB
2nd ed SS
3rd ed DR
in that order for me

Yep, but I figured he still counts as resembling the Swooping Hawks aesthetically speaking

I read this and moved on, but then someone quoted it and I looked again. Out of all the official GW models you mentioned Striking Scorpions and Howling Banshees are the newest, and those are the ones that are showing their age? I'm just confuzzled by how you arrived at your opinion.
