If you are looking for good gears the best sources for me have always been old wind up toys and broken printers. Bothe are easy to find.

Well, Europeans hold the stereotype of Americans as all owning guns. So I will just roll with that and
/rack shotgun

And Vik, you NEED to build the steampunk AT-ST out of PLASTIC, not cardboard! If you need more supplies, let me know

lol... i guess i will be set for this built as is... the stock is quite big enough thanks to your earlier carepackage^^

and i thought as much the same... also this might in the long run provide me with the option to maybe cast the thingy... which would be a totally sweet thing^^

the main reason i have not really made progress with PC is the glue issue i have not solved yet... i need to find a good glue and then literally all would be set...

I now have a guy here on Dakka, Galorn, who is great at mold-making. I too, am thinking in terms of casting. But Vik, you should first make a prototype model before you section it out for casting. It would be very expensive if you designed the thing in sections for casting, and then it didn't work out. You will learn much from the prototype, and your patterns will make reproducing it easier.

absolutly second your point here... and it was maybe a bit confusing... but it was meant to be exactly the way you described it... first prototype and then the "explosion" and making seperate parts^^

otherwise i think it wouldn´t work at all...

Trust me it is best to do a trial run and you will have mistakes and at time you will bang your head repeatedly against a wall but eventually you will succeed and the out come will be great and worth the effort plus search for some casting tips on the net I found a few that really helped and moved things along quickly.

Good luck Viktor and now I am storking you so happy new year and see you very soon Ha HA Hahh ah ah

see...that was the master plan...i was secretly trying to drag you...drag you i tell thee...to my own lair...now that i have you in my fist...^^

well yeah...for casting...this will take some time to start things...but the casting as such is planned...i hope it will be starting this year... could truly revolutionize the hobby for me...

I am guilty of this as well! I keep getting off track from painting my Warmachine models( my Cygnar, Khador, Mercs & Menoth ), then my Mordian Iron Guard, the Fenris IG project, my Space Wolves force project.. Well I like putting the models together, its almost as fun as playing with them. Painting would be my second love after all the conversion ideas I have.

I'm glad to hear everyone's holidays were a rousing success! I look forward to updates, tips, tricks, conversions and painting soon!

I found it a bit daunting at first but after finding a decent supplier of resin and silicone who also helped me greatly with what I needed for my use, I have had some great fun with it and a few mishaps but overall it has been worth the effort.

Now how do I get out of here is this some kind of well I am in and why does this basket of body lotion keep coming down here HELLO HELLO CAN YOU HEAR ME ………….

the last part is oh so true...while surfing...posting or laughing ones hunchback off...this time could be also wasted by painting/modeling...then there is that fair amount of vidgaming one man needs to blow off some steam...

and well...wasting/spending money sure gets harder when at work...but i remeber that i spent oh so many €€ s while sitting at a desk wading through pages of ebay...^^

Did you get any thing nice HAHAHA

depends...we did get a big plastic box...and some six small plastic boxes to go^^ no meatballs this time... tho even my son asked for them...he is half vegetarian... but we were pretty tight on time today...becase it was the second time this week we went there...argh...tho i do like it from time to time to go there... i really enjoy shopping, provided i have enough time doing it...but my wife hates it... we are the reverse stereotype of male/female in the shopping department^^

and since we try to redecorate the childrens room... we baught yet another new rack support beam... for those who are known to the stuff... IVAR... nice and quiete refershingly flexible a system...

the only one major thing i can´t stand with ikea is that you mostly have to walk how they want you to walk... if you get rid of your kids in that smalalnd...then you want to get them back... it is an endless odysee to get where you want to go...and don´t ask me about lifts going the way you want them to go...
