Hey guys ive been playing SM for acouple of days now. I was wondering after trying to info on the subject, but does anyone know if SM is doing good in the sales dept. cuz it seems like there arnt that many people on mulitiplayer.

I haven't even touched the singleplayer, and can back out and get into multiple games. Don't know if that means alot of people are playing it, but there seems to be enough.

PS3 players, if you are one of them, seem to be having trouble getting into games. I've only had a minor problem myself on PC. On PC however I've noticed that I've played with the same people several times, hinting that the community may already be dying down which is unfortunate.

We can try and check VGCharts but I don't know if they have data on Space Marine yet. The game just came out after all.

I haven't had any problems joining on xbox, there seems to be a good number of people on, at least on EXBAWX

Im on xbox too, and I can say the problem hasnt happend today i guess it was just a temporiay(spelling?) problem.

Well, if SM is hosted in anyway similar to Crysis 2 (player by player hosting), then maybe its because you're too far from other people. I get that problem a lot where I live, and I now know a couple other people I've played often just by name. Its pretty fun finding people over again though.

Thats probably what it was. Im in Union Springs AL, nearest town is an hour away in either direction. I guess people near me finnaly got enough copies too speed it up.

the search "finishes" when it finds 16 games and then picks one of those, instead of loading a whole server list or whatever, possibly why there are so many lag issues alot of the time.

I never have problems finding games, but I rarely see more than 4-5 games found at any given time. And I've had one experience where I left a game (due to a team being complete idiots), looked for a new game, and joined the same bloody game.

No problems finding games quickly on xbox here, doesn't give me enough time to doodle while searching.

You should note that they separate titles by platform. The 360 sales are not lumped in with PC and PS3 sales. EDIT: Also note that VGChartz projects sales but does not track actual sales data. Usually they're close enough to the mark though.

You should also note that sales are much lower than developers like to say they are. 'Shipped' is a cover word they use that doesn't reflect actual sale numbers. When Quick Silver says they've shipped 2 million copies they're including the copies that haven't been sold yet.

So I just spent a few minutes poking around VGChartz and I couldn't find any numbers for anything newer than 2007......am I missing anything?
