I have started a Word Bearers army and have painted my first 2x5man tactical squads and a chaos lord. i love these guys. But now i'm thinking of doing a nurgle army but i still want my normal guys and i want to incorporate khorne and tzeentch into my army... and still want to play as word bearers :( HELP!

i might ''split'' my army in half and have a Khorne lord, followed by 2 tactical squads, and then a nurgle lord folowed by plague marines ( around that(could do a Nurgle DP or whatever but i think you get the idea)) and i could throw in Tzeentch and slaneesh here and there. The point is i love word bearers ( read first heretic) although i dont know anything about the other legions.

Its your army do what you like. To hell with anyone that tells you differently.

Ok... i have this weird feeling that i should start a MASSIVE roject and put up a blog and make a really SICK word bearer army... but im to lazy lol although i just converted a AWESOME Khorne lord from fantasy into 40k ( pics soon)

Well word bearers are Chaos Undivided so you can easily get away with having a little from each god in your army.

Considering the silliness of the Word Bearers in the Dawn of War games (IE - Word Bearers with Khorne Berserkers, Horrors of Tzeentch, Sorcerors, and so on) you should be just fine. Nothing wrong with having Plague Marines in your Word Bearers army.

I wouldn't call that 'silly' with how the Word Bearers are portrayed in Dwan of War.

They are Chaos Undivided, and use a lot of daemons. It wouldn't be uncommon at all to find allies among them from other legions or daemons from multiple gods.

I run a Word Bearer's army, and, well the only thing "Word Bearers" about it is the Tanks and one lord. I run Berserkers and Plague marines as my troops ( both painted to their specific colors) . until I can fully replace all of them.

As pretty much everyone else has told you (I'm always late), Word Bearers would definitely have some devoted cultist troops, because they're true Chaos Undivided. It not like Iron Warriors, who basically are just Renegade, you know?
