me and the wife were cleaning up the house and found these 2 minatures and have no idea what they are 1 of them has the following stamped underneath "Rpimport 85"" they are both hand painted as there is some chips of paint that are missing

Blood-Raging Khorne Berserker
|
Ral Partha Miniatures both of them....from the 1985 Fantasy collection.....
1) Half Elf Ranger.
2) Human Sorceror.
I have both figures my self but unpainted as of yet.

Ral Partha went out of buisiness some years ago, but I do see some figs on store shelfs from time to time. There are several other companies that may have taken over and make figures of this type, its been a while since I worked in a store.

as already said, it's possible. Check Iron Wind Metals, that's the remnants of old Ral Partha. Reaper is also good for similar items.

What's more, these are BOTH figures from their legendary 'three stage figure' line. For the unfamiliar, these came (predictably enough) in blister packs of three, each pack representing the same figure through three stages of their adventuring career: One as a relative newbie (as both of these are) one as an experienced adventurer, and one as a legendary hero...

It was great to see those mini's. Boy do they take me back to the good old days hehe. My cousin had these models as well and I remember the 3 pack thing heh.
BTW this was a pretty standard level of paint job on these minis back then and we thought it was great hehe.

Sadly, not all the figures in the 3-stage line are available these days. You CAN however see samples of what the line contained courtesy of an archived RP catalog which is available here:

You will see the models in question on pages 7 and 8 of said catalog, with item numbers 01-324 and 01-331.
You can also contact the Iron Wind folks directly via their website and ask if said models are available. They're nice folks and will help you out!

The oldest model I bought myself and is still unpainted was from April 1990 (the reciept was still sticky taped to the blister)

My oldest unpainted models are 2 Rifts SAMAS suits I got from the Compleat Strategist in Falls Church around 1995. I'll get around to them sooner or later. Automatically Appended Next Post: By the by, I also really liked the 3 stage concept Ral Partha had, they have so much character, you can almost see the epic story behind the transformations.
