Not bad at all. Personally I'd darken down the recesses with some Devlan Mud wash, and/or Badab Black wash on darker colours and metallics - practise on a test model if you haven't used washes before.

Are those the finished bases or will you be adding some more basing detail? - they look a bit plain at the mo.

They are pretty darn good. Maybe see what a full body devlan wash might do? Could help with some nice shading.

Love the cartoony style (and the turtle!). I second the use of washes, will help bring out the details a bit more. Other than that, looks sweet. XD

The correct question is, would I be enjoying this hobby if I did this?

The correct audience is you.

Should be cartoony, they are friggin grots man! But yes, needs a good wash on it.

Victory is not the most important outcome. Enjoyment and excitement is the best outcome, victory is sweeter when it was fun.

Looks good.

I see you have highlighted some of the green with a yellow, on the tortoise/turtle anyway. Forgive me if I am wrong about what it is. Toad, frog, turtle, tortoise, I see two items there, not three.

I would add silver the odd armour plate on the gun just to break up that red. It's always worth it to mix more than one colour on ork guns, always.

Also, a question. Why is that grot on a tortoise anyway?

That turtle is a ferocious war turtle... or so his rider believes and with Orks you just have to believe a thing to make it so.

The rarefied atmosphere

really good stuff, rare to see this level of work put into grots and this shows they are totally worth it.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

Orkses is never defeated in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!
