Ok so what they do is redirect units in a way that you want them to.
For woc that would be war hounds.
They are cheap and mobile.
You move them up infront of your units and set them on angles so that when the enemy charges them they will expose their flank to on of your units.
How do you use them?
Good question it takes a bit of time and they will not work right awaya ll the time it takes a bit of practice but when you understand it and have done it once or twice you will get it and then you are set.
So move em up set em on an angle (make sure the enemy charges their front not their flank or the redirecting will not go so well).
It will usually mean that the opponent dosnt charge and that way giving you the chance to charge if need be.
Side note make sure the unit that charges the redirected unit dosnt expose its flank or such to your opponent.
