Grovelin' Grot Rigger

Hi All, first time poster long time reader...
So I have been out of the 40K spheroid for about 10 years but just picked up AoBR and am itching to get back into things.
I have been drawn back to Orks and want to make a nice list of the 2000pt variety that is workable and functional but ultimately fun and silly with very little emphasis on tournaments and winning at all costs. I want to be that nuisance guy that if the dice gods smile I can thwack anyone on the day.
Call me crazy but my only prerequisites are that I REALLY like the Shokk Attack Gun and the idea of Ol’ Zogwort.
So here is what I have so far (I am at work so don’t have the codex with me for points values but it’s in the vicinity and I will work out exact numbers and points later:
I am going for the Hammer and Anvil approach as I like a variety and a good mix of things on the table.
Hammery Bit
Ol’ Zogwort and 8 Burnas riding in a Battlewagon with a Deffrolla and RPJ
7(ish) Nobs riding in a Battlewagon with a Deffrolla and RPJ
2 Rokkit buggies
Anvil Bit
3 Killa Kans with Rokkits
2 x Mobs of 30 boys with a PK Nob
Other Bit
10 Lootas broken into 2 lots of 5 to sit back and dakka stuff
SAG Mek with a unit of 10 Grots and a Runtherd
5 Kommandos and Snikrot
Philosophy is that the Hammery Bit cruises down a flank and smashes everything it can. Zog tries to pop some ‘eads and maybe turn an IC into a squig. Once the Nobz get out the Battlewagon rollaz everything it can. Meanwhile the Kans and Boyz press on and hopefully reach the baddies in one piece where they can start krumpin.
All the while the Lootas and SAG shoot anything they can see and, with the help of the grots, sit on an objective if need be.
Kommandos are there to slice some Devastators or Long Fangs or anything mushy at the back.
If someone wants to do the math and work out exact numbers that’s fine but I am basically getting an idea on the viability of this list. Remember though I don’t care about tournaments or anything I just want mayhem and lots of laughs.
Cheers in advance.

Another funny unit to play with, ( assuming your orky humor is slightly twisted like mine) are stormboyz, because everytime you utilize the Rokitpack (moving, running, charging, deep striking) you roll a die to see if one dies. Call it morbid, but nonetheless i find it entertaining.

It is just not a good ork list. You should build a good ork list then add the HQ. So use 4 battlewagons, snikrot then the HQs. Or go for a green tide.
Zogwort needs to be 18'' else he uses the normal chart, you may find the burnas disappear from your battle wagon. Maybe put him with Snikrot, to get him within 18''.
I sometimes play both a SAG and a warphead but at different times. The SAG I use when I have gone for Big guns and Lootas. The Warphead I use for distraction in a green horde, also to make the game interesting for me - moving that many models is dull.
I like both of them, I would even say they are both successful and rate them good but orks have much, much better HQs.

UMMM, that looks wicked fun. I ran a proxy zogwarts list jsut to see fi I wanted to buy or build the model. He's fun, warpheads are fun, zzap guns are fun.
Snikkrot is cool but him and only five kommandos will be making someone laugh, under the... "Wow, that sucked," As you sadly watch them die the turn after they come in.
I love playing fun lists, I run a bunch of different lists and I want to say that, even for fun, don't run seven nobz. Run the mimimum of 3 just use 'em for the BW. But if you want the nobz cut down some for a painboy and you can't get the four/five elite slots which you have now.
kommandos, burnas, and lootas, are elites. So are nobz I believe. This is a problem for you.
When you know which 3 elite choice you want to choose
(I suggest burnas, and two squads of lootas. If you're being more fun then competitive, then one squad of the three specials, kommandos, burnas, and lootas no nobz.)
THen take a BW as a heavy to transport whatever you need and squad the 3 kans up as you were going to do.
If that clears up points make these three choices with more models. Just throwing it in their, and have fun man, I love orks.

“We are the ones you left for dead. The ones you left in the ground. Buried and forgotten, we have tunneled our ways to the stars, and there will be no dirt nor cave where you can hide. The Dwellar are here.”
Dwellar Codex; 40k Dwarfs
“Well, what do you carry the gun for if you’re just going to waste bullets?” Timer reloads his Boomer as Forling fires his Shrapper.
“I may ‘ne be a good shot Timer, but I don’t miss much from this close up with my hammer,” Forling continues to fire.
“All the enemies are good and far away so what the hell does that…” Timer looks up to see Forling giving him an angry stare. “Oh, yea, ok, um, good shooting.”

Definitely a fun list, not a competitive one though. You need to select a speed for your army. 6" or 12". Either footslog(Green Tide or Kan Wall) or go mechanized(Battlewagon Rush, Speed Freeks). Without the synergy, your army arrives at two different times, and the one arriving first typically gets focused on by your opponents ENTIRE force. Don't wave attack
