I have been fooling around with many different colors for tactical marines and one thing I really wanted for them to be robed or with surcoats and because currently you buy a 16 dollar full unit of five guys with robes (instead of a 19 dollar upgrade pack that still means you have to buy a normal unit of marines) I went with the dark angel robes.

Looking good, but I think your paint is too thin. Try either watering it down or drybrushing

Looks awesome, makes me want to break out my marines.

The half and half colour scheme is great.

Really well done. I like the look of the unit, the first impression. Upon further detail your paintjob looks a little off, but certainly doesnt take away too much from the unit.

Try taking pictures without flash. Makes the unit look better.

On closer look I can see some paint spots I can do better on (isn't that always the way?)

Good job with the two tone color scheme. Red and blue make a good contrast. Lots of folks screw up the dividing lines, but you've managed a good job of keeping them crisp on the borders.

Paints too thick, lots of visible brushstrokes, pooled washes, flat bases.

Those mold lines really need to be taken off. Also drill your bolters. Not a bad start though!
