I'm thinking about picking up one of them XV9 'Hazard' fancy Tau Battlesuits. But they all look so cool I don't know which to get.

They're on FW's website, here

Thanks

I vote Phased Ion Guns based solely on the look of the thing. I don't play Tau or know anything about their army lists, but that model looks awesome.

Same reason, but I picked the Fusion Cascades.

The hazard close support armor is ballin. In terms of usefulness and matching the current codex though, the fusion cascades is the only easy match.

I'm straying towards hazard suit and the commander. They all look sick though, much better than GW's Crisis Suits.

Hazard. I like (relatively) big things that just mow through units of small things, and a suit with what appear to be 4 plasma gatling cannons can probably handle that quite well. Fantastic imagery of it against orks.

Case closed. Within the confines of my imagination stood a lone XV9 Hazard perched upon a cliff overlooking a horizon of menacing orks, all filled with the lust for blood. They shall never sate their thirst, however, for the only color they shall embrace before death is not the warm red of blood, but the blueish hue of the Battlesuit's white-hot plasma fire, emerging from gatling barrels of death like bees upon a bear.

Be aware that the XV9s are quite a bit bigger than normal crisis suits. The commander suit is normal sized.

The close hazard suit. The commander's shield looks pretty bad imo.

I like the commander suit.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

Really? You mean Shas'Orly right? In that case I'm probably getting the Hazard. Size matters

And that is a really nicely painted suit! Kudos to you sir
