Subject: Land Raiders as dedicated transports

Defending Guardian Defender

In the Black Templars codex entries for terminators, it mentions that you may take a land raider crusader as a dedicated transport for units that contain 8 or fewer models. Because it's listed as dedicated, this LRC does not appear to take up a heavy support slot. I didn't see anywhere that specifies either way, other than the fact that the LRC has it's own listing under heavy support, and not under dedicated transports with the rhino and razorback.
Is my assumption correct?
Thanks in advance.

That's right. You can get a sizable number of LRC's given enough points as Crusader Squads can also take them as DT.

Yes. The Land Raider Crusader that you take as a dedicated transport for your terminators does not use up a Heavy Support slot, so feel free to take 3 more Land Raiders if you so wish.

BTs can take a LRC in every FoC via Dedicated Transports and actual Heavy Support.

Blood Angels can take a LR for every slot that you have Infantry, so 2 for the honor guard (HQ), 3 for terminators (Elite), 6 for assault or tac squads (Troops), 3 for Vanguard vets (Fast attack), and 3 for Devistator Squads (Heavy) So you can have 17 LR's on the field, if you have the points for it.
