So I have had this army sitting around for years and now I want to paint some of it. My question is what color would be good for the armor on a cadian if the cloth is a commando Khaki. Also wit that theme in mind what color for the tanks.

You are obviously looking at a dark colour to offset the lighter brown. Anything from black, Dark green/khaki green/Olive drab. Try Tamiya for either Sea Blue or Field Blue, they are excellent for IG armour. As for the tanks, I'd suggest that you aim for a colouring that closely resembles the colour of the figure bases,e.g. are you going for an urban setting, desert, winter? Pick the colour that suits the terrain.

I'd go with a camo green/black/desert yellow armor

Desert is kinda what I am looking for. Also I ask this cause I am color blind so sometimes I pick the wrong colors and they don't really mix well.
But would dark angels green or camo green be better?

Green can still work with a desert army. A lot of soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan use Green vests.

I'd say Charadon Granite, Catachan Green and a Camo Green Highlight.
Same thing for tanks, but mix Catachan and Camo green, and drybrush instead of highlighting.

Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!

I'm color blind, so when I have this dilemma I usually google "color wheel" or "complimentary colors". Since I started doing that, people have stopped making those "OMG that's hideous but I'm too polite to be honest" faces when I show them my latest work.

I think Catachan Green for the armor plates works with ALL color patters for cloth.
Other then that, either pick a real life armies colors or what you think is cool. Also note that it is really hard to do gigital camo.

Well, I looked at your pictures and honestly your models are over Table Quality.
