No. It wouldn't.

Long story short, Orks can't really be corrupted by chaos; their nature is just too simplistic to really understand the concept. They're programmed to fight, so they fight. They don't get involved with politics, economics, or indeed, corruption.

Interestingly, the old Daemonhunter codex proved that an ork can still be possessed.

On a boat, Trying not to die.

A. That's Impossible (Plant/Animal Hybrid would just be silly)

B. Why? (No gain to either side. You can have Orks that fall to Chaos with 'Eavy Armor)

C. Use correct Grammar and spelling next time, please.

Orks can be corrupted, but usually by Khorne. Obviously.

There are several races that can be corrupted by Chaos, the question makes no scence. There were Khornate Storm Boyz in the earlier editions of 40k.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

They should really have a Chaos Renegades codex with all the chaos non marines available.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

Chaotic Xenos included, seems like a good idea.

And Eldar, there was Eldar Chaos Champions during the 2nd edition and they would make perfect Tzeentch servants.

No, but I believe along with the Pirate and rouge Eldar started the entire idea of Dark Eldar. I myself run a Chaos Cult of Dark Eldar lead by a deranged Chaos Archon.

I wonder, is it possible that the chaos gods can influence the Tyranid hive mind?

Is it possible that the Trynaid invasion is driven by a chaos corrupted hive mind?

I doubt that, the Hive Mind appears to be some external inttelegance that could in fact be another C'tan.

There is a rumour that the Hive mind is a C'tan called the Outsider but remember it's a rumour.

A C'tan is not a Necron. A C'tan is an ancient Star-God, sort of like Cthulhu.

C'tan do however embody living steel of necron creation. That might be the source of the confusion.

The Chaos Gods are the gods of those people who share those emotional experiences in the long term. The deranged blood thirsty warrior, the power mad politician, the decadent noble, and the terrified collaborator. Those are the people who follow the Chaos gods.

Eldar - The tend to follow either follow path of labor or a path of perfection that leads them away from falling into any of that non-sense. Oh and slaanesh owns their souls.

Dark Eldar - Their souls are owned by slaanesh, but they actively avoid psychic influences, so its harder for them to be involved with Chaos in any direct way.

Ork - The Ork emotional spectrum is just really different. Its almost childlike. Their emotional spectrum produces Gork and Mork.

Tau - Not psychic, barely have souls. Farsight might have a daemon weapon, but this hasn't made him burn worlds or anything.

Necrons - Not psychic, No souls, not really alive. C'Tan are their "gods".

Tyranids - Uh, I don't know their emotions, but they seem to create a psychic entity that is large enough to create "a shadow in the warp" (Dawn of War II)

I know the difference between the C'tan and necrons, I just don't understand what they would have to do with Tyranids.

IIRC, the theory went that the Outsider was floating around space until he came across the Tyranids. Then, he decided to use them to take revenge on the beings that had wronged him. But this is only vague, probably wrong recollections of the thread.

So is the rumor stating that the hive mind is a C'tan or under the influence of a C'tan??
