Solid work, only thing that gets me is the models seem a smidge dark even though they're battle damage, still good job though!!

Jedend1: I use the old GW sand, don't know what I am gonna do when I run out but I will figure it out. For the grass I use GW dead grass.
Kingofwings: thanks!
Wolfgirl: thanks!
Popsicle: the red is pretty simple, Although it would be easyier with photos to show you.

Step 1: basecoat with 2 thin coats of mechrite red.

Step 2: wash with badab black.

Step 3: recoat with mechrite red, leaving the recesses.

Step 4: where you have Recoated with Mechrite red paint blood red, still leaving the recesses. This may take two coats.

Step 5: Once the blood red is dry, wash the entire model with Baal red.

Step 6: the battle damage is done by using fiure case foam.
break A piece off and stick it in some black paint, I wipe the paint off on my skin and try to get rid of most of the paint. Then dab this all over the model.

Step 7: Metal areas Are done by painting boltgun metal and then washing it with badab black. After this I put rust pigments on the metal, do as much or little as you want.

Step 8: Bases are painted by painting scoched brown as a base, this is then drybrushed with graveyard earth and followed by a lighter dry brush of desert yellow.

I will be Putting a detailed tutorial on my P&M blog, http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/392404.page.
