Hey dudes im going to a 1000 point tourny on saturday and need to be sure I'm taking the right army. currently my thoughts are to take one of these two armies. If you have anything to say about upgrading them then please im sure it might help

both lists seem like theyll do okay but im not usre what would be more competitive.

I would go with list 1 with maybe a few changes. I don't think you need 60 boys in a 1k list. Make both Kans squads Rokkits. Add more Lootas..

@Lamo yiour first list looks good. I would personally go all shoota boyz but it's a personal preference. I think you are fine with the Anti Armor on the list, other then AV14 you should be OK, but if you find it lacking try and fit rokkits on the all the kanz.

@Balsak I think 30 boyz is very lacking, shoot my 500 point army has at least 50, 15 is too small for footslogging and remember the age old rule for Orks: Boyz before Toyz.

Well I have used this list and 30 boys is fine at 1k. Yes there are alot of toys as you say. Those toys help the boys survive as they are getting cover says.

Okay, well, I'd go List 1.

Personal tweak:

Drop one squad of boyz. Other squads are shoota boyz, since they are footslogging. Add another 3 Kanz, all rokkits. Take the last 10 points and purchase a couple big shootas for one of the boyz mobs.
