Came across a bunch of sci fi (i think) minis that i did not recognize, anyone know what they are?
Am contemplating buying them, but would like to know more about them first.

Thanks!

I'm 99% sure those are heroescape figures

http://www.hasbro.com/games/kid-games/heroscape/

From wikipedia regarding the scene

"Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast never held nor supported officially sanctioned events such as they had with Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, or Axis & Allies, however a fan-run tournaments scene started very soon after the introduction of Heroscape. The biggest tournaments have been at major gaming conventions such as Gen Con or multi-genre conventions such as Comic-Con, but various local and regional tournaments are run regularly. Starting in 2007, a grassroots movement was made to declare the 3rd Saturday of October National Heroscape Day, and various tournaments and events are run annually on that day around the country, with Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast supporting events with prizes.[4] However, other than prizes, there is no official governing board over events, so each one may be run with its own set of rules and scenarios based on the gamemaster's discretion."

Wizards of the Coast announced on november 3rd 2010 that it will be discontinuing the Heroscape line.

Unless they are near free I wouldn't invest much into them.

Thanks a lot for your effort.
I'll of course attempt to get them near free and then it's diorama/conversion time!

Lol yep, I was gonna suggest putting them to the knife and salvage some of the models for bits and conversions but I wasn't too sure if you did that sort of thing.

Yep, they're Heroscape. They cross all genres from Historical to scifi to fantasy.

They're a bit larger than some figs, but the sculpts are pretty good and they're great for repainting and/or rebasing and use in games like Song of Blades and Heroes and any other generic skirmish game.

Yes, from the 1st box set. I have 2 of those box sets, 2 Swarm of the Marro, and 1 Marvel box, as well as at least 100 minis from the smaller expansions.

Heroscape has some great minis, lots of uses in other games. Only problem is they are OOP, and many fetch a good price on ebay.

Mad4Minis, they may be OOP, but a bunch of the shops here still have a ton.

You're saying I should buy up all the stock and more than make back my money?

well the guy wanted 30 euros, so that's a big no.
He relists them from time to time and they don't sell.
What a shocker!.
Thanks for the effort all!
