Hey Guys!

So after posting a small article on my blog last week, I decided to post a topic on Dakka to get some more response.

First some pictures of my conversions so far: (Mostly WIP)
More found in the above article post!

I also have about 5 more in the works.
I've been struggling with a good way to do a bionic gun arm, with the gun in place of a hand. Any suggestions in that vein?

So what do you guys think? Anyone else got some cool conversions/tips/ideas? Feel free to post anything related to bionics for Space Marines here!

Yeah, now that I look at it its kinda strange, but what can you do. I'll see about adjusting that a little bit.

Okay, snapped some quick pics before heading out.

Completely scratchbuilt leg, needs some more piping and work on the foot.

scratchbuilt gun arm and an =I= symbol for the jetpack. I'm thinking about taking off any BA iconography and making this guy an =I= only assault marine.

awkward wiring marine, now with respirator and silenced bolt pistol!

Necron arms and legs
Good call, I need to make a bits order. However, the scale does concern me somewhat.

Let me know what you think!

I've only made one bionic from scratch, an arm for one of my latest models. Here it is;

After this pic was taken I added green stuff where the hand meets the forearm, to simulate a covered up joint.

That's awesome, the detail is striking. Where are the small black cables from?

Just some thin electric cabling, I make a habit of saving stuff from busted electronics that might come in handy for modeling.

Press mould that Bionic Arm, it is too nice to be a one off! Nice work, I think the angelus pattern Boltgun (used by the Blood Angel Sanguinary Guard). It is attached over the Wrist. So I think it would be good on a Sternguard who has possibly had his hand removed at the wrist. The gun would be attached at the fore arm and wires stick out of his wrist to show it has been severed.

Equally you could have a Devastator missing his arm and pauldron, using heavy weapon one handed with a chain or sling around his neck so he can still balance the weapon. Or maybe a Space Marine Plasma Gun operator who has suffered a "Gets Hot" and is damaged but still uses Plasma Weapons.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

Well, it's not a space marine, but chopped up tomb king arms with some grey stuff and copper wiring make some great bionics...

Th, I'm in the process of refining some previous ideas and building a new chainsword arm.

Ah, I see. Might just have some from busted headphones, I'll take a look.

Angelus boltguns....I believe I have one lying around somewhere. A get hot marine is a good idea, I was planning on some plasma already in the army. I'm thinking lots of small holes in the armor, or would a big laser burn style look better?

Techmarines are the ultimate in Bionics, I would build a "Master of the Forge" with a Ton of Bionics. I am still wondering at doing my MOTF as a TECHMARINE DREADNOUGHT like this one, it looks amazing...

EDIT This isn't mine, i just put it up as I was inspired by it, I think it's "Toy Cutters" Work.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

I've come back to your thread for inspiration, as i've started a Pre-Heresy Iron hands army...Lots of bionics, but I want to copy the severed Arm with cables etc sticking out. Waiting on the FW Troops and I can get cracking.
